Iceland Ice Skating Center - 14318 Calvert St, Van Nuys, Los Angeles
-----------------------------------------------------
EXTERIOR FILMING was the Ice Capades Chalet
The ice skating rink closed in 1983 and currently is:

pickwick ice skating rink?
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of Ice Land in Paramount. Did they ever shoot an episode in Paramount?
ReplyDeleteThanks Brian
ReplyDeleteThe location has been positively identified as the Ice Capades Chalet in Santa Monica CA.
The beach house was also used in season 6 episode 5 of The Waltons, 'The Seashore.'
ReplyDeleteThese guys are absolutely amazing, and you'd be crazy to party anywhere else in the city. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. It's elegant, affordable, and delicious. You really get bang for your buck at New York venues here! And the service is top-notch.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking to find out the name of the restaurant from the opening scene. Anyone know?

Are you asking about the restaurant located next to Jim's trailer? The building was ALICE PLACE and the open little place was Taco Casa
The restaurant I was wondering about is a nautical themed restaurant Jim is in at the opening of the episode when he's having dinner.
