The movie "THE BRIEF" was a fictitious movie listing, it was suppose to be a movie made from Beth Davenport's novel (Beth is Jim Rockford's female attorney friend). The other three movies - Twelve Monkeys - Sudden Death - Bordello of Blood - were all real movies playing in theaters at the time this episode was filmed.

Fimple was the second actor from the "Godfather Knows Best" Rockford Files to be killed in a motor vehicle accident. Victor Aaron was the first actor from this episode to also be killed in a motor vehicle accident (see Below).
