You are right, that is a very young Dick Butkus.
The thug with his arms raised in photo #2 was longtime stuntman and actor Ron Lewis. He had a recurring role on Battlestar Galactica. He later left hollywood to become a television news reporter in Fresno and Bakersfield, California. I worked with him at the Bakersfield station, and he always used to point himself out whenever we aired this episode. Last I heard, he was retired and living in Idaho.
