The Rockford Files Police Station seen in many of the series episodes at De Longpre & Wilcox in Los Angeles

ABOVE PHOTO: ROCKFORD FILES - Across the street from the old Los Angeles Police Station at De Longpre & Wilcox you can see the large "Local Bail Bonds" sign hanging on the apartment building wall.

The above three images are from the episode "The Four Pound Brick" (1975)
The familiar looking Los Angeles police station was used in many of the episodes of the "Rockford Files".
The old Los Angeles Police Station has long been demolished to make room for a brand new modern police station at De Longpre and Wilcox Avenues in Los Angeles.

Below is how this corner looks today.

Would have been great to visit the Rockford files police station . The new building is huge . It probably was a very large project to actually build . I was a union carpenter for 34 yrs . This is really interesting to me .
