Bill: Thanks for giving us yet another reason for enjoying the Rockford episodes - trying to figure out where the filming locations were, based on whatever clues are given (or sometimes NOT given) on screen. :-)

GREAT JOB...Just a note - the car washes shown were probably Hanna equipped - ironically that was my first employer as I did site & market development (sales) for the Portland OR - based company in NJ and Eastern Penna. Most of the Calif washes at this time were equipped by Hanna (perhaps there is a screen shot as the company would have its logo quite noticeably on the plastic extruded panels covering the equipment components) as it was based up the coast and the other major competitior was in New Jersey. Hanna merged with Coleman Company as few years ago and relocated to Houston TX and is now known as the Hanna - Coleman Companies.

I really enjoy this Rockford Files blog. I'm curious as to the actors the are not credited as to who they are and if they appeared in other Rockford Files or even other shows. If anyone could share more information about some of these people it would be interesting to hear.

Very interesting blog!!! It gives me the interest to watch again the Rockford Files episode. You know what I am fan of visiting filming locations of my favorite movie, and these is one of it, I need to visit the place and see the real appearance of it. Anyway, I just visited the 5401Olympic in Los Angeles, CA. The movie that I watch is not that great but I visit the place because it really attracts me. I love the beautiful scenery of it, very relaxing place and the house itself is AWESOME!!! Anyway, hope I will visit your place soon.
